Mirrung Ngu Wanjarri (Aboriginal Women Making Changes)
Mirrung has been a funded project since June 2000. The project is to raise awareness about family violence in Aboriginal communities by raising self awareness and self-confidence in Aboriginal women and to work on strategies for improving outcomes for families experiencing violence . The Project Worker works in partnership with Aboriginal communities and other service providers. Mirrung is currently funded by the Commonwealth Department of Family and Community services and Indigenous Affairs.
